The Rocket City Trash Pandas host an annual fall event titled, “Fall Festival.” A family-friendly experience featuring a Halloween movie screening, trick-or-treating, and seasonal concessions. For this year’s event, I was tasked with redesigning the festival logo to better reflect the atmosphere of fall while remaining consistent with the team’s established brand.

My creative direction was driven by classic autumn assets such as pumpkins, apples, warm orange tones, and expressive script typography. I paired this with cinematic influences to reflect the movie-night component of the event. While much of my design work lives in the sports space, researching vintage movie theater and drive-in cinema logos proved was crucial in shaping the final aesthetic and elevating the overall concept.

The logo features bright orange pumpkins and decorative framing elements, balanced with subtle red and brown accents to create a warm, nostalgic fall palette. The logo system was successfully applied across multiple touchpoints, including billboards, flyers, social media assets, and event merchandise.

This project had several required brand integrations: the Rocket City Trash Pandas primary logo, Toyota Field’s logo (the event location), and the event sponsor logo, Metro Diner. These elements were incorporated while maintaining hierarchy and brand clarity without compromising the visual impact of the design.
